Accounting, Policy and Oversight Committee (APOC)
Purpose: The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce has established an Accounting, Policy and Oversight Committee (the “APOC”) to improve the performance and ensure the accountability of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.
Economic & Community Growth Corporation of Lycoming County
Purpose: The ECGC is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, literary, scientific, religious and educational purposes as provided for under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”) including without limitation, all purposes, powers and privileges conferred upon the corporation by the Pennsylvania Nonprofit Corporation Law of 1988, and for the specific purpose of promoting the economic and community development of the Greater Williamsport and Lycoming County regions.
Education Committee
Purpose: To participate in the educational delivery system in Lycoming County as it relates to the economic vitality of the area.
Industrial Properties Corporation (IPC)
Purpose: The purpose of the IPC is to cooperate with the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce to promote, foster, expand, protect, and assist in the industrial vitality of Williamsport and Lycoming County as well as to purchase, receive, or otherwise acquire title to real and personal property, or any interest therein which may be appropriate to enable it to accomplish anything for the business and industrial development of Williamsport and Lycoming County and to alleviate unemployment in these areas.
Jersey Shore Area Chamber of Commerce
Purpose: To promote the business community in the Jersey Shore area and assist in promoting the goals and objectives of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership Lycoming Operating Committee
Purpose: To understand the needs of the communities it serves, then educate and motivate potential leaders to commit themselves to address those needs through a variety of community leadership roles.
Lycoming County Visitors Bureau Operating Committee
Purpose: The mission of the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau Operating Committee is to promote and increase tourism and business visits to Lycoming County.
Membership Development & Retention Committee
Purpose: Position the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce as the region’s leading economic development agency and business advocate; enabling the Chamber to increase membership through services, benefits and educational programs.
Montoursville Chamber of Commerce
Purpose: To promote the business community in the Montoursville area and assist in promoting the goals and objectives of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.
Golf Tournament Committee
Purpose: To offer our members quality programs designed to allow for networking opportunities and to provide an enjoyable event in a relaxed setting.
Transportation Committee
Purpose: Assure that Lycoming County shall be served by a safe, modern and efficient intermodal transportation system to facilitate economic development and to preserve economic viability. Support initiatives that provide adequate federal and state funding levels necessary to achieve a modern well-planned intermodal transportation system.
Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Purpose: To serve on the governing Board of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, providing direction and recommendations on policy, activities, and programs.
Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee
Purpose: The Executive Committee shall act for and on behalf of the Board of Directors when the Board is not in session but shall be accountable to the Board for its actions.
